How to Know Something for Sure

Natural a-priori axioms:

·         something exists

·         something is true

·         nothing is not something

·        nothing does not refer to anything that could actually or possibly exist

·         nothing does not exist

·         exist + true = real

·         everything that exists with beginning must be caused to begin

·         something necessary exists without beginning

·         eternal exists without beginning

·         everything other than eternal exists with beginning

·         eternal causes everything that exists with beginning

Those natural a-priori axioms, in fact all, natural a-priori axioms are necessarily true, which means true in every possible universe. There is not a single empirical observation that could disprove any of those natural a-priori axioms.

Consensus is when we agree with each other that we know the same things.

The totality of knowledge must be grounded in the beginning of knowledge. It is necessary there was before knowledge begins and after knowledge begins. Information can exist before we have knowledge of it.

A necessary question is: what existed before the beginning? That question is necessary because everything that exists with a beginning must be caused to begin. Something must cause the beginning. “Nothing” cannot cause anything to begin, because “nothing” does not refer to anything that could actually or possibly exist.

Therefore, we must begin before the beginning, to find the ground of beginning, because everything that exists with beginning, must be caused to begin. Eternal is the only thing that exists without beginning, therefore, eternal necessarily causes everything else that exists.

Nothing that exists with a beginning can cause itself to begin. Everything physical exists with a beginning. The ontological test is: exist vs does not exist. The ontological limit is that no physical thing can cause itself to begin.

You exist. I exist. Otherwise, we could not be having this conversation. We do pass the ontological test.

Illusion is literally, appearance only. Illusion is something, not nothing, therefore illusion is real but without substance. Appearance only is not substantial.

As physical bodies (live physical organisms), you and I exist as illusion = appearance only. Everything physical is illusion = appearance only. Everything physical, including you and me, is real, but nothing physical is substance, including you and me. You and I are real but without substance.

Substance means exists with intrinsic power of original intentional causality.

Only consciousness, including superconsciousness and ego consciousness have power of original intentional causality, therefore consciousness is substantial. Mind is an instance of ego consciousness docked to a physical body/brain/central nervous system. It is your ego consciousness self, not your physical organism self, that is substantial.

Consciousness drives the physical bus, means consciousness commands physical mass with original intentional causality. Consciousness is substance. Consciousness commands physical.

Nothing physical has intrinsic power of original intentional causality. Physical objects are capable of mechanistic deterministic and uncertainty causality, but that is automatic, not intentional. The laws of physics strictly govern, determine and limit automatic physical causality. However, laws of physics are physical, therefore must themselves be caused to begin.

In my cosmology, hypostasis is the first-first. It is trivial (= intuitively obvious), there can only be one first-first; only one hypostasis. Superconsciousness is the hypostasis first-first; the first thing to exist with a beginning.

In my cosmology, genesis means original causality.

Eternal genesis-emanates superconsciousness hypostasis. Only eternal has intrinsic power of genesis-emanate.

Superconsciousness is substance, because superconsciousness has intrinsic power of original intentional causality. Superconsciousness has intrinsic power of genesis-create. Only superconsciousness has intrinsic power of genesis-create. Therefore, superconsciousness causes everything, other than itself, that exists with beginning.

Superconsciousness genesis-creates all categories (= kinds, groups, classes, sets, etc.). Categories entail instances, elements, members. Elements instantiate categories. All categories exist with beginning, and every category will have a first instance of the category. Categories are themselves, instances of conserved meta-information first information.

Only consciousness has self-awareness; nothing physical has self-awareness. For instance, it is consciousness, not the physical brain that has self-awareness. You = ego conscious self, make good use of the physical brain, like you make good use of your physical computer, or iPhone, or toaster.

Only ego consciousness knows that it knows. The epistemological test is true vs false. Only consciousness has knowledge of true and false. Nothing physical is true or false; rather, everything physical exists. Only our knowledge of existence can be true or false. The epistemological limit is that nothing physical can explain itself.

The epistemological truth test means no knowledge can contradict even a single natural a-priori axiom. Any information that does contradict even a single natural a-priori axiom is necessarily false. Any logical inferences that derive from, are congruent and mirror symmetrical with, natural a-priori axioms, are necessarily true. Logical contradiction is a killer of truth. Avoiding logical contradictions is a fundamental knowledge strategy.
